Michelle Hwang, DDS, is an experienced general dentist at Smile for Miles Dental in Colleyville, Texas. She and her staff have been together for over 16 years, and she pledges to provide her patients with the most advanced dental treatments and personalized care to help optimize their oral health. Dr. Hwang has over 18 years of experience in dentistry and specializes in full-mouth rehabilitation and implant restorations.
Dr. Hwang earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Boston College. She then graduated from Columbia University in New York, a prestigious Ivy League school, with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2005. She has completed extensive training and specializes in advanced dental implants, Invisalign®, and Clear Correct™ orthodontic treatments. She is also certified in conscious sedation with nitrous oxide.
After 10 years of practicing dentistry at various dental practices, she decided to open her own dental office in 2014, specializing in family dentistry and serving children and adults with compassionate, high-quality dental care.
Committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental care, Dr. Hwang is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Fort Worth Dental Society.
She is of Christian faith and is married with two children, Ellie and Kellan. When she is not working, Dr. Hwang and her family enjoy their time volunteering at their community church, taking missionary trips, and spending time with family and friends.

I am SO happy I came here! The staff, literally from the front desk all the way to the back, is so nice. You hardly ever get the level of kindness they gave to me today, in any healthcare setting and I really appreciate it and the effort that takes.

They consistently told me I was doing well, checked to make sure I was comfortable during my cleaning and walked me though it in areas that may feel weird or uncomfortable for a minute. The doctor and staff are amazing! I am now taking care of my dad and getting him to his appointments. He has been coming here for years, but it was my first time meeting them. They were so accommodating to my dad’s special needs. What a friendly environment!

At the beginning they were very welcoming. They made you feel comfortable and at home. The process to get a cleaning was in and out. They were able to let me know about everything. I got x-rays done and they told me exactly what I needed to get done, especially with my wisdom teeth. All in all, this place is amazing and I totally recommend them.
Dr Hwang was great! She was friendly and caring. Her office staff was quick to respond to questions, both by text and by email. Waiting room was comfortable. Overall I highly recommend this dentistry office. They do try hard to make sure you are well taken care of.
